2019 Obamacare (Affordable HealthCare) insurance signups available at D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital at no cost for the public.

BREWTON, AL - D. W. McMillan Memorial Hospital is again offering assistance to our community with insurance through the Affordable Healthcare Act (ACA). Hospital officials announced Nikki Matheny, Certified Counselor, has been hired to help our community through the enrollment process of the Marketplace.gov website. Nikki is available to assist new enrollees explore their options and help navigate them through the signups, as well as those already enrolled.

"If you are currently enrolled in the ACA insurance, you will need to re-verify your personal and financial information with the marketplace in order to maintain your current policy if you have not already done so," stated Susan Jennings, Case Management Director. "Nikki can also provide an "Exemption Letter" for tax purposes for those who do not qualify for the insurance."

Anyone looking for insurance coverage or looking for more affordable insurance is encouraged to contact Mrs. Matheny. Those who have ObamaCare insurance are required to sign up each year.
