Medical Surgical

A 26 bed medical/surgical (Med/Surg) unit provides care for those patients needing treatment for acute illnesses or short-term postoperative care. Patients needing longer care days are assessed by our case manager for possible recuperative or rehabilitation stays.

Patients of all ages are cared for on the Med/Surg unit, which has two VIP suites, 18 private rooms and three semi-private rooms. Suites and private rooms have couches that pull out into a bed, so that a family member or friend may stay overnight in comfort with his/her loved one.
