BREWTON, AL - D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital announces Open House September 29 from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. Hospital officials invite the public to view the hospital now all expansion and modernization efforts have completed.

All visitors that wish to take a tour of the hospital are asked to enter the ER Lobby to begin the tour routes. Hospital staff will be on hand to discuss and answer questions from the public concerning the completed project. Featured in the tour will be the new emergency department addition, operating suite addition, outpatient renovation and much more.

"We wanted to give everyone a chance to walk through now that the project is complete," said Chris Griffin, hospital administrator. "We are proud of the efforts of all of our staff, construction contractor, Robbins and Morton and architect, Sherlock, Smith and Adams who made this project successful and now we want to share it with our community."

Included in the $11 million dollar hospital expansion is the new emergency department, new operating suites and multiple upgrades and remodels to existing areas. Anyone planning to attend should park in the new parking lot north of the hospital and enter under the porte-cochere at the Emergency Entrance.
